She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Melvin McGee and Pearl Johnson McGee; her husband Jesse Burns; her brother Bobby McGee; her stepson Luis Burns; and her grandsons, Jeremy Burns and Corey Wilcox.
She is survived by: her children, Tammie Burns, Duane Teninty of Elko, Jesse "Jake" of Flatonia, Kirby Burns of Flatonia, Jamie of Flatonia and Kyle Shimpock of Flatonia; her stepsons, Jim Burns and Paul Burns; her grandchildren, Keith Wilcox, Sykia Jones, Jim Burns Jr., Roy Burns, Kaylee Shoemaker, Hannah Shoemaker, Noelia, Chaim Nethero, Natasha and Paxton Garza-Palomo; and her siblings, Clyde McGee, Ernest (Evelyn McGee), Helen Castelberry, Jimmy (Barbara McGee), Linda (Charles Patterson) and Norene (Bill Johnson). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
