Laverne Chastain wrote a sympathy message

“I went to gradeschool with Dwight at Obadiah Knight School in Dallas. Dwight was a quite youngester. Very polite and not too interested in sports. He blended in well with his classmates and always joined in school activites with all of his classmates. I spoke to Dwight, after gradeschool graduation, We had a number of pleasant conversations. I am sure that Dwight must have had a happy life with such a large family. I wish I had klnown him better as a grown man. Laverne Chastain”
