He is survived by: his wife Miriam Walker Carson; his children, Julie Scott (Michael) of Keller, Brian Carson of Flint and Leah Caldwell (Kevin) of Huntersville; his grandchildren, Caroline Golden (Brandon), Emily Scott, Jackson Scott, David Scott, Kaylen Carson, Sara Parker (Connor), Chad Carson, Carsyn Caldwell and Camdyn Caldwell; his great grandchildren, Walker, Cooper and Harper Golden; and his sister Charlene Stingley of Stillwater, Oklahoma..
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703).
