Gene Beck Obituary
We announce the death of Gene Beck of Floydada, Texas, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 86. Gene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Beck and Pearl Beck; his former wife Sue Beck; and his siblings, Bill Beck and Myra Bambridge.
He is survived by: his wife Molly Stringer Beck of Floydada; his children, Scott Beck (Linda) of Brownfield, Melinda Beck of Lubbock, Suzie Jameson (Gary) of Lubbock, Christy Newberry of Georgetown, Melody Roberts (Jim) of Coarsegold and Steve Stringer of Floydada; and his brothers, Ted, Nick, Frank and Joe Beck. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (401 S Main St, Floydada, TX 79235).
