He was predeceased by: his parents, David John Summers and Virgie Frances Summers (Chambers); and his daughter Teresa Michell Summers. He is survived by: his wife Gerry Summers (Taylor) of Floydada; his children, DJ, Teddy, Johnny Jr., Tonya and Shonda; and his sister Frances Stephens of Lubbock. He is also survived by eleven grandkids and his eight great grandkids.
