He was predeceased by: his wife Dana Roberts Ellis; his parents, Thomas Burnett and Dovie Lois Sandlin Ellis; and his sisters, Elizabeth Piper, Rosa Lee Rainwater, Aggie Birdwell, Brenda Ellis and Christy Ellis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Anna Mason, Tommie Dell Butler, Truman Ellis, Mary Lou Hawkins and Garvis Ellis; his children, Kimberly Ellis Peralez, Jo Lee Ellis Rau and Tim Rau; and his grandchildren, Piper, Eli, Jacob and Leah.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel.
