Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sue Daniels of Floydada, Texas, born in Socorro, New Mexico, who passed away at the age of 82, on April 10, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Burris and Dessie Burris; her husband Zeddie Daniels; her daughter Zan D'Lee Merritt; and her siblings, John, Garvin, Merritt, Ermagene Sanders and Ernestine Dockery.

She is survived by : her son Trent Brandon Daniels (Meregen Jane) of Ft. Worth; her grandsons, Braden Daniels of Ft. Worth and Luke Merrit of Stephenville; her sister Ethelyn Vernon of Lockney; and her brothers-in-law, Clay Daniels (Nancy) of Dallas and Danny Daniels (Sue Daniels) of Abilene. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada Monday (329 W California St, Floydada, TX 79235). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Floydada (401 S Main St, Floydada, TX 79235). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Brownfield Cemetery (900 N 14th St, Brownfield, TX 79316).
