With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia (Lockney) Taylor (Floydada, Texas), who passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, J. P. Taylor and Trudie Frances Taylor (Merrell); her husband Clifford Joe Taylor; and her brother J. Ronald Taylor. She is survived by : her children, Gregg Taylor (Cris) of Floydada and Rise Ford (Mike) of Lockney; her grandchildren, Tiffany Beltran (J. J.), Trinity Nevins (Kyle), Leah Barker (Jeff), Jackson Taylor and Carlyn Boyd (Regan); her great grandchildren, Felicity, Ethan, Bradley, Emery, Maddyn, Hannah, Brody and Berner; her sister Katie Pierce of Lubbock; her sisters-in-law, Charlotte Brock of Lockney and Willie Mae Gregg of Roby; and her aunt Betty Wood of Muleshoe.

Family suggests memorials be made to the South Plains Baptist Church, PO Box 98, South Plains, TX 79258 or to the Floyd County Historical Museum, 105 E Missouri St, Floydada, TX 79235.
