He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethyl Richard (Muck) and Charlie George; and his brothers, Jesse Wilford, Sherwood Richard, Riley Richard and Russell Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean George; his children, Jacqueline Bowman, Chinita George of Mesquite, TX, Kataris George (Cee Cee) and Emmitt George of Jersey City, NJ; his sisters, Nealia Richard of Monroe, LA and Charlotte Ann Palmer of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Aisha Parker, Joseph Bowman, Naomi Washington, David Bowman, Tenesha George, Bria Tucker, Jenise Stockes, Aniya George and Maeve George. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
