She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold J. Avants and Leona F. Avants. She is survived by: her husband Weldon L. Bowen; her siblings, Gayle A. Bastian (Dave), Allan A. Avants (Shirley) and Arnold J. Avants, Jr. (Kathy); her stepdaughters, Holly B. McMahan (Jay) and Wendy B. Perry (Landon); her grandchildren, Austin McMahan (Alice), Brenton McMahan, Ryan Perry and Lexi Perry; her nieces and nephews, Allan Avants, Jr., Kyle Avants, Arnold Avants, III, Johnny Avants (Erin), Jessica Shepard (Jason) and Casey Brunet (Cochise); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Bowen and Barrett McMahan. She is also survived by other extended family, her church family and a host of friends.
