He was predeceased by: his parents, Damon Evans and Willie Agnes Evans; his brother Billy Damon Evans; his sister-in-law Betty Evans; his nephew Mark Lamar Evans; his stepson Randy Minton; and his wife Henrietta "Henrye" Evans.
He is survived by: his children, John Perry Evans (Debbie), Dana White (Pat) and Rana Evans; and his stepsons, Mike Minton and Jerry Mack Minton. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
