He is survived by: his wife Helen Salas Sandoval; his children, Mary Pate (Tyson Pate), Lupe Torres and Alex Sandoval II (Patty Burkett); and his siblings, Frank Sandoval (Antonia), Debra Goodier (Winslow) and Norman Thompson (Jenny). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
