She was predeceased by: her husband Grover Mitchell; and her sons, Martin E. Mitchell, James D. Mitchell and Miles Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Nathan Allen Mitchell and Rebekah Shana Carter; her grandchildren, Ottis Dean Carter III, Mia Ann Carter, Abigail Elizabeth Munoz (Emmanuel Munoz), Melissa Megan Sampson and Marcus William O. C. Sampson; her great grandchildren, Sebastian Munoz, Paislee Ann Sampson and Quentin Lane V. J. Sampson; her sister-in-law Roberta "Robbie" Mitchell; and her daughter-in-law Mary Mitchell.
