With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Batts (Fort Worth, Texas), who passed away on February 21, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Farley Morrow and Ethel Lorean Payne of Wichita Falls, Texas.; and her husband Marvin E. "Joe" Batts. She is survived by: her children, Maureen Steele (Tom) of Fort Worth, Curtis Batts (Victoria) of Benbrook and Deborah Besadesky (John) of Plano; and her grandchildren, Michael Miller (Tuesday), Jennifer Steele, Tiffany Steele (David Zamudio), Charles DeGrange, Tiffany Jackson (K. C.), Elizabeth Besadesky and Kat Hewitt (Sam). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
