He is survived by: his wife Sunita "Rosy" Bates; his mother Sheila Prescott; his father-in-law Doyle Prescott; his brother Joshua Aaron; his sister-in-law Jessica Bates; his sibling's children, Emma, Ella, Amelia, Matilda, Piper and Kade; his parents-in-law, Prem Singh and Minji Gurung of Katmandu, Nepal; his brothers-in-law, Prem Kumar Gurung of London, England and Prem Prabhat Gurung (Juni) of Katmandu, Nepal; and his niece Tara (Gurung).
