She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Perez and Lucille Perez. She is survived by: her husband Jack Ward; her sisters, Angela Moody and Olivia Perez; her children, Thomas Marquez, Joseph Marquez, Michelle Reed and Steve Ward; and her grandchildren, Justin and Laura Marquez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson & Son Chapel (6009 Wedgwood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76133).
