He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Obermiller Goebel and James William Goebel; and his brother Paul Joseph Goebel. He is survived by: his children, James Sebastian, Amanda Christine and Clara Elena; his former wife Sandra Felsenstein of Shakey's Pizza Parlor; his siblings, Helen and Richard Goebel; and his nephews, Jake, Gus and Wyatt Goebel.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin's Lutheran Church (606 W 15th St, Austin, TX 78701).
In remembrance of Charles' life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Lutheran World Relief.
