Dan Alvin Willis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dan Alvin Willis (Fort Worth, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn McDavid; and his sister Dale. He is survived by: his wife Jssica Ray; his children, Callen Elizabeth Willis and Daniel Harrison Seburn Willis (Linden); his stepdaughter Elizabeth Williams; his siblings, Judge Doyle Willis, Jr. (Libby) and Dina Willis; his granddaughters, Katherine and Juliette Willis; and his siblings' children, Henry, Easton Willis and Danielle Willis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth (800 W 5th St, Fort Worth, TX 76102).
In lieu of flowers, Dr. Willis' family suggests friends may honor his memory by making contributions to the Tarrant County Historical Society, P.O. Box 470251, Fort Worth, TX 76147 or the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1600 Gendy Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107 .
