David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his wife Alta; his children, Mariah Byars (Emory) and Tanner; his grandchildren, Kellan, Merrick Byars, Jason and Kristin Cashon; and his great grandchildren, Will, Maddie, Kenna, Alex and Ben.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cowboy Church of Erath County (4945 U. S. Hwy 67, Stephenville, TX 76401).
