We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2026, at the age of 86, Emily Palmer in Fort Worth, Texas, born in Ladonia, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wayne McLemore and Muriel Elizabeth Erwin; her son Doug Palmer; and her sisters, Glenda Jackson, Shirley Hackler and Pat Wylie.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Cost (John Cost); her grandchildren, Michelle, Jeremy Golightly, Brandie, Jason Montgomery, Michael Wilson and Stacie Smith; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Caroline, Colby, Caden Golightly, Ava, Allie Wilson, Shelby, Rylee Awtrey, Stryker, Lucas, Logan Montgomery and Soon; and her great great grandchild Delaney Josephine Golightly.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Hurst Get (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053).
