She was predeceased by: her father Frank Dowell; her husband L. C. Coleman; her son Micheal Roy Coleman; her mother Ora Mae Dowell; and her siblings, Jimmy Dowell, Willie Dowell, Nathaniel Dowell, Jessie Dowell, Charlie Dowell, James Dowell, David Dowell, Cora Coleman and Ora Nell Dowell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Coleman, Lisa Coleman and Rogenia Coleman; her grandchildren, Perry Coleman, Ashley Smith, David Smith, Sonny Coleman (Dyneshia), Joshua Coleman, Ja'Lisa Lise, Sha'Lissa Lise, Da'Quan Coleman-Hornbuckle and Ashanti Coleman; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Smith, Chance Coleman, Chase Coleman, Skylar Smith, Brayle Sneed and Granger; her sisters, Mrytle Dowell, Gloria Dowell and Francis Walker; her sisters-in-law, Pamela Dowell, Earliene Dowell and Yolanda Dowell; and her godchildren, Evelyn Ellison and Dee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
