He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Whitten and Emily Brownlee Whitten. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheri Foster (Bobby), Janice Boyle (Patrick) and Patti Allen (Blake). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
