He was predeceased by: his parents, Reeder Simmons and Rita Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Becky Simmons; his daughter Lindsey Wright; his son-in-law Shawn Wright; and his grandchildren, Alex Wright and Isabella Wright. He is also survived by nine siblings.
He has been battling Parkinson's for many years and is now no longer suffering.
