He is survived by: his wife Lana Loutricia Mathis (Warford) of Fort Worth, Texas; his children, Brian Mathis, Keith Mathis of Fort Worth, Texas, Holly Kiser (Jim Kiser) of Fort Worth, Texas and Cheryl Mathis of Dallas, Texas; his grandson Clayton of Fort Worth; his daughter Rachel of Brunswick, Georgia; his brother Truett Mathis; his sisters-in-law, Amy of Liberty, Missouri and Carole Mathis of Plano; his nieces and nephews, Robert Mathis, Beth Markley, Katherine Smith, James Mathis and Carole Thomason; Ray, Janie Ramirez, Cindy, Lily, Grace, Tom Burlin and Barbara Hornbuckle. He is also survived by several cousins and great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
