It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwenlyn Doneece Scichowski (Fort Worth, Texas), who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gwenlyn Doneece leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her father Don Winston Stout; her grandson Luke Ellis Scichowski; and her siblings, Jack Wendall Limbaugh, Linda Cooper and Donna Francine Stout.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Julie) of Birmingham, Alabama, Charis Hull (Marcus) of Woodridge, Virginia, Jerusha Benedetto (Tim) of New Orleans, Louisiana, Solomon Scichowski (Alyssa) of Nashville, Tennessee and Justus Scichowski of McKinney, Texas; her grandchildren, Lucy and Nash; and her sister Nansii Downer (Bryan).
