He was predeceased by: his wife Toña; his children, Carlos Eddison Sánchez Montás (Lourdes Clemente), Henry Omar Peralta Montás, Ivette Peralta Montás and Ginette Peralta Suárez (Joel Suárez Rodríguez); his grandchildren, Melvin Barnes, Janismarie Sánchez (Anthony Alvarez), Christian Omar Sánchez, Luis Amaury Rivera-Peralta, Gabriel Rivera-Peralta, Tommy Lee Suárez, Lucas Daniel Suárez and Samantha Sofía Suárez; and his children, Yaniel Alvarez, Alissa Alvarez, Jailianis Alvarez and Ailianis Alvarez.
He is survived by: his pets, Rocky, Speedy and Blackie. He is also survived by siblings, along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the ALS Association or Team Gleason to support others living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
