She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Thompson and Oletha Dell Thompson; her sister Johnnie Russell; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Harmonson. She is survived by: her husband Morris Harmonson; her children, Doug Harmonson (Joan), David Harmonson (Melissa) and Dana Blackaby (Norman); and her sister Exsa Reeves. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
