He was predeceased by: his father Sgt. Forrest L. Yancey; his adoptive father Bill Tierce; and his mother Louise Abadjian Tierce (Yancey). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Tierce; his children, Forrest Tierce (Alexandra Tierce) and Heather Salaz (Ernest Salaz); his grandchildren, Roman Salaz and Stella Salaz; his stepdaughter Kristen Morgan (Ed Morgan); his grandsons, Ian, Sam and Jed; his stepdaughter Cathey Black (David Black); his grandsons, Gideon and Nick; his stepson Corby Young (Carolyn Young); his grandchildren, Jessica Olson and David Young; his stepdaughter Carey Garrett (Jim); his grandson Michael; and his sisters, Julie Wallace (Rick Wallace), Anita Murdock (Terry Murdock) and Valleta Lanier. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, and great-grandchildren.
