He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Rangel and Felix Rangel; and his wife Lupe Mercado. He is survived by: his sister Edith (Gilbert Vela); his children, Rebecca (Steve Henton), Johnny and Randy Rangel; his grandchildren, Heather (Dan Garrison), Lindsey (Harley Rangel) and David Henton; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Ruby Rangel and Lexi Bloom Henton. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
