With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Evans in Fort Worth, Texas, born in Frankston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joyce leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her son Mark Churchman (Julie); her sister Jane Pate; her grandchildren, Matt Churchman and Melissa Contreras (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Kyra, Cameron and Elliott.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church - Hurst (521 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, TX 76053).
