She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lawson and Julia Lawson; her husband Charlie Smith; her children, William Michael Smith and Shariece Annette Smith; her grandchildren, Misty Dawn Scott and Joshua McMorris; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Smith, Barbara Applewhite (Robert Applewhite), Karon Gann (Wayne Gann), David Smith (Debra Smith) and Valerie Medford (David Medford); and her grandchildren, Steven Workman, Christine Gann Spikes, Tiffany Gann Caswell, Justin Smith, Stephanie Smith, Aaron Smith, Priscilla Kardaras Griscom, Jeffrey Kardaras, Ashley McMorris Mansell and Johnathon McMorris. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and numerous other extended family.
