He was predeceased by: his parents, Don DeForrest Cole and Eunice Ladell Hale-Retz; and his stepfather Gilbert W. Retz. He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Cole (Jenny) and Russell Cole (Alisha); his grandchildren, Emily, Kailee and Harley; and his siblings, Ronnie Cole and Brenda Plumley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
