He is survived by: his children, Amanda Beth Batson and Bert Rodney Batson Jr.; his sisters, Laura Batson Perry and Marnie Marie Batson Smith; his granddaughters, Makayla and Makenzie Brinlee; his niece Heather; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rory and Peyton Oestricher; his niece Robin Woten; his great-niece Holly Hazlett; his great-nephew Bryan Woten; Barron, Jackson, Matthew and Jefferson Myers. He is also survived by his extended family, including his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at the Rosehill Cemetery (960 E 2nd St, Cleburne, TX 76031).
