Mark Loring Wheeler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Loring Wheeler of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark Loring Wheeler to pay them a last tribute.
Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reuben Loring Wheeler and Dorothy Jane Wheeler; his wife Patricia Ann Wheeler; his daughters, Rebecca Lee Hinds and Megan Wheeler-Borthwell (Brian); his grandson Jeramy Hinds; his sister Sandra Fletcher (Jeff); and his niece Jordan Faikish (Jeff).
Pastor Mark authored the book Close Call in December 2015 and in June 2016 was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in recognition of that work and his lifetime contributions to the ministry.
