He is survived by: his significant other Adele Lozano; his children, Michael Austin of Justin, Texas and Anne Austin Johnson (Jason) of Haslet, Texas; his grandson Wesley Johnson; and his sister Vickie Austin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Chapel (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Mount Olivet Chapel (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
