He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Murrell (Carr). He is survived by: his father John Murrell; his siblings, Keri Higgins and Gary Murrell; his daughters, Rainey Murrell and Taylor Masters; his son-in-law Randy Forbes; and his grandchildren, Gunner and Waylon Forbes.
