He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Basil Hobbs and Utha Heloise Partain Hobbs; his brother Ronnie Hobbs; his grandson Timothy Hobbs; and his sisters, Bonnie Tipton and Sharon Gallegos.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Cheryl McDonald of Azle Texas; his children, Richard D. Hobbs, Sandra E. Riddell and Robert Shawn Hobbs of Cortez Colorado; and his great grandchildren, Sister Marsha and Phil Jiron. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
