He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Gilbert Dalton and Gladys Marie Latham; and his wife Sharon Dalton. He is survived by: his children, Steven Dalton (Debbie) and Cheryl Dalton Payne (Gary); his grandchildren, Cassie Payne Cox, Tyler Payne, Catie Payne Cochran and Aaron Dalton; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Cohen and Connor Cox; his grandchildren, Carson, Gibson Cochran and Grady Payne; and his siblings, Joyce Dalton Coker (Jim), David Dalton (Debra) and John Dalton (Anne).
