It is with sadness that the passing of Sammy Hernandez (Fort Worth, Texas) is shared. Sammy, born on June 20, 1948, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sammy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Sammy by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Sammy is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Sammy’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Hernandez, Sr. and Simona M. Hernandez; and his sisters, Helen Pantoja and Dolores Gonzalez. He is survived by: his daughters, Misty and Kelly (Jaime); the mother of his child Brenda; his grandchildren, Ceci and Lex; his great grandchildren, Maddy and Elijah; and his brother Ruben Hernandez, Jr. (Irma). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
