She was predeceased by: her parents, Flavia Vasques and Enocencio Guerra; her siblings, Agapito Guerra, Adivino Guerra, Manuela Guerra, Andrea Guerra, Josephine Reyna and Sophia Rodriguez; her loves, Olivero Gonzales and Dan Garcia Jr.; her daughter Sarah Newsome; and her granddaughter Sheila Hogness.
She is survived by: her sons, Olivero Gonzales Jr. and Larry Garcia; her grandchildren, Melissa Newsome, Tyler Newsome, Chloe Gonzales, Hayley Fowler and Jessica R. Larson; and her siblings, Lucy Hernandez, Mary Barraza, Louis Guerra and Joe Guerra. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel (7301 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76112). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
