He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Rubin and Gertrude Steinberg Rubin; and his brother David H. Rubin. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Held; his children, Janice Rubin (Charles Wiese), Nina Rubin (Hillel Katzir) and Paul Rubin; his grandsons, Nicholas Vaughan (Jake Margolin), Jacob Wiese and Joshua Rubin; and his great grandchild Whit Margolin-Vaughan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
