She was predeceased by: her parents, Odina Couture and Leda Couture; her husband Jacques Valley; her siblings, Aline Couture, Berthe Couture, Lucille Couture, Bertrand Couture, Gregoire Couture, Lionel Couture, Florian Couture, Denis Couture and Rejean Couture; and her sister-in-law Nichole Couture.

She is survived by: her daughter Chantal Valley-Wylie of Athens, Texas; her granddaughter Chantaline Gronski (Adam Gronski) of San Marcos; her great grandchildren, Samantha, Bella and Abel Gronski; her granddaughter Donnielle Lilly of Burleson; her great grandchildren, Aidan and Nathan Lilly; her grandsons, Patrick Wylie (Sara Kaplan) and James Wylie of Irving; her great grandchildren, Judah, Wade and Aly Wylie; her brothers, Laval Couture (Denise) and Guy Couture (Quebec); and her niece Nathalie Couture of Rawdon, Quebec. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

Therese was a passionate supporter of many causes, donating endlessly to those in need and volunteering with numerous organizations throughout her life.
