He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Wood and Cindy Kennedy; his grandchildren, Thomas Barnes (Amberlyn) and Cassie Stevens (Eddie); his great grandchildren, Katherine Grace Barnes, Benjamin Alfredo Barnes, Thomas Champ Barnes, Mason Mora, Jakx James Stevens and Carma Annette Stevens; and his brother Hutchie Hutchison (Beverly). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Independence Chapel at Greenwood Mausoleum (3210 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haltom City Police Department or Fire Station.
