She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Raymond Chamblee and Minnie Pauline Rozell-Chamblee; and her husband Russell Bruce. She is survived by : her daughter Michelle Whitlock; her son-in-law Charles; her daughter Melissa Bruce (Travis Lackey); and her brother Wendell Chamblee. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her commitment to the well-being of others extended beyond the hospital walls as she actively engaged in charity work for underprivileged children, crafting clothes for them alongside her church community.
