She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Norris and Mittie Norris; her husband Charles Herbert Thompson; her son Terry Thompson; and her siblings, Louise Ferguson, Lois Rice, Wanda Norris, Barbara Killough, Mary Neal, Sharon Turner, Lonnie Norris, Daniel Norris and David Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Thompson of Newark, Texas, Earl Killough of Newark, Charles Thompson Jr. of Lexington and Rickey Thompson of Azle, Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Breyley Room, Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral Homes and Cremation (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
