William Lee Morton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025, at the age of 77, William Lee Morton (Fort Worth, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping William Lee's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee and Ernestine Crosson Morton; and his brother Curtis Morton. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Morton (Peggy) and June Marshall (Jim); and his sister-in-law Margaret Morton. He is also survived by three nephews and their wives and children.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Spring Valley Baptist Church (5101 Western Center Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76137). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
Bill continued to live at his home in Hurst until Parkinson's Disease made it impossible for him to continue to live by himself.
