We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 91, Edwin Fredrick Pilger in Franklin, Texas, born in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett Pilger and Frances Pilger; his wife Doris Mary Morgan of Cook's Hoe Down; his daughter Mary Giles; and his granddaughter Emily Fritsch.
He is survived by : his children, Cynthia Hughes (John) of Camp Creek, Rick Pilger (Beverly) of Bryan, Phyllis Fritsch (Lee) of La Grange and Adren Pilger (Susan) of Navasota; his son-in-law Lynn Giles of Iola; his daughter Patricia Potts (Lance) of East Bernard; and his grandchildren, Leslie Herring, Tracy Cain, Haley Hughes, Melinda Boehm, Jenny Murphy, Amy Clary, Valerie Stein, Elizabeth Allensworth, Casey Giles, Daniel Pilger, Seth Potts, Lori Giles, Jamie Darr, Victoria Heller, Katie Giles, Jayci Janecek and Shea Potts. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
