She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nathaniel Stanley and Frances Bentley Stanley; her former husband Eloye Alvis Snell; her son Alvis Dwight Snell; and her sons-in-law, Max McGee and Jack Edwin Boepple.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Steakley of Franklin; her daughters, Sandy Kaye McGee of Richmond and Rhonda Renee Boepple of Franklin; her grandchildren, Ashley Page Seelye (Jay), Payton James McGee, Whitney Blair Mussett (Sam) and Haley Lauren Boepple; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Savannah, Leighton and Ellie.
