He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Sanders and Mozelle Sanders; his parents-in-law, Obia and Oleta Cargill; and his grandson Thomas Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Sanders; his children, Sarah Watson, Michael Sanders (Trish), Daniel Sanders (Melissa) and Sheila Parker (Sean); his grandchildren, Caitlin Watson, Micaleigh Sanders, Brittan Sanders, Seth Sanders, Anthony Iverson-Olguin (Courtney), Justin Merrill (Amanda), Matthew Bell, KayLynn Sanders, Kayden Santamaria, Danielle Parker, Grady Parker and Hadley Parker; his siblings, Glenda Phipps and Larry Sanders (Cindy Sanders); and his brother-in-law James Cargill (Colleen Cargill). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
