He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Clevenger and Mary Elizabeth Clevenger; his significant other Pamela Kay Adair; his brother Aubrey Earl Clevenger; his nephew Rodney Clevenger; and his niece Lewanda Sullivan.

He is survived by : his daughter Katy Fuchs of Franklin; and his grandsons, Levi (Grayson Fuchs) and Howard Clevenger (Cindy) of Texarkana. He is also survived by family members and friends.
